Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation
CSNDC works in Codman Square and South Dorchester in Boston, Massachusetts, to build resilient and stable communities. They aim to build neighborhoods where residents, businesses, and organizations can enjoy a healthy and equitable community.
Since 2018, Earthwatch Institute has worked with Codman Square to develop and implement sustainable cities training events, such as Rain Garden 101, for students and adults in the Codman Square community. These programs empower community members to take action in their own neighborhoods and make their communities more resilient to the effects of climate change. Earthwatch relies on local partnerships like this one to provide in-depth knowledge about the needs and goals of local communities.
YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Earthwatch depends on donations—above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate in our expeditions—to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources Earthwatch needs to sustain over 20 global field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
