Nature is better together.
Schools of fish, herds of bison, bales of turtles, and many animals move in groups. But whether it’s a leap of leopards or a conspiracy of lemurs, they all have one thing in common: They’ve discovered the benefits of exploring this world together.
And what do you call a bunch of adventurous travelers collaborating with scientists to save nature? An expedition of Earthwatchers, of course.
In addition to corporate outings and student groups, we can arrange expeditions for alum associations, community groups, zoo or aquarium staff, and other affiliations. View our Group Terms and Conditions for detailed information.

Student Groups
An Earthwatch student group expedition brings science to vivid life for teens and teachers alike. Students get to perform vital, peer-reviewed scientific field research under the supervision of skilled scientists, all while immersed in diverse global cultures in striking natural settings. Students will have the unparalleled opportunity to explore the world, grow confidence in their leadership skills, and build lasting bonds with their peers who have similar interests.
Corporate Teams
Discover how an Earthwatch corporate expedition can inspire your staff, foster team building, improve talent acquisition and retention, and empower employees to innovate and create their own sustainability plan. Participants will work side-by side with leading scientists to not only gather data on critical environmental issues but also identify ways to bring their hands-on experiences back to their company and community.
Alumni Associations
Collective service creates long-lasting camaraderie. And as more and more young graduates say they’d be eager to join volunteer outings through their alma mater, an alumni expedition can help your school connect with a generation that ranks the environment as a top concern. With nearly 50 years of experience fielding—Earthwatch will work with your school’s alumni association to design a truly unique excursion experience for your alumni of all ages.
Community Groups
Strengthen the bonds you already share by taking part in the rigorous but rewarding work of an Earthwatch expedition, where you can explore and save our natural world together. Whether it’s with friends or family members, or with your church group, scouting troop, or civic club, roll up your sleeves together and help meet the crucial environmental challenges of our time and share an unforgettable experience as a team.
Zoos and Aquariums
An Earthwatch expedition is an unforgettable way for your team members to connect with wildlife in their natural habitat. Join us in supporting the work of the world's premier researchers and inspire your own scientists, curators, zookeepers, volunteers, and community supporters. Get them into the field to experience, understand, and help protect the habitats and species they care so deeply about.
Experience hands-on science in some of the world's most astounding locations. Meet a community of eco-conscious travelers and return home with stories filled with adventure.
YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Earthwatch depends on donations—above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate in our expeditions—to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources Earthwatch needs to sustain over 20 global field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
